Carrier navigation carousel: Bell hGUI to Sprint XUI
Bell Mobility wanted to turn non-data customers into data users and give every handset it sold a common look and feel.
Design a home screen carousel that previews content at a glance, then extend it across Sprint's phones once Sprint licensed it.
I defined the carousel, glimpse and gaze interaction model and wrote the specifications for Bell, then worked on conceptual points of view for Sprint's XUI ecosystem.
Sprint licensed the design from Bell; I designed Sprint's version, which launched as One Click in September 2008.
